One of the boys came up to me, hiding behind his friends, terrified
As I was walking through the streets of Kolkata, boys happily approached my SLR camera. One of them approached me with great enthusiasm. It was as if he was asking me to take his picture. On the other hand, the other boy, in contrast to the boy who was leading the way, was approaching timidly.
The boy who was approaching slowly and reluctantly was hiding behind the boy who was laughing enthusiastically. But he was also curious about the SLR camera I'm holding, and his gaze was looking straight over his friend's shoulder, straight into the camera.
