A mother was relaxing in the shade by the roadside in Mymensingh. She had her young son on her lap. It was perhaps one of the few moments of peace in the midst of a hectic life. The mother had a very meek face.
When I pointed the SLR camera at her, she stared at the camera with her soft face intact. The boy, on the other hand, looked at the camera with startled eyes. The boy didn't seem to understand what the camera was about. His eyes were wide open and he seemed to be trying to figure out what the hell was going on.
