The man was sticking out his umbrella
The man I met on the riverbank seemed to be surprised at me because I focused on him suddenly. And he might be at a loss what to do.
What he did at once was getting out his umbrella. He started to take a fighting stance while he was holding a collapsible umbrella. He stuck it out like a competitive fencer. Of course, he didn't intend to dig me. Smiling cheerfully, he had some photos taken. He was a merry man.
