Jeepneys With Emblems Of Benz

Jeepneys with emblems of Benz

The emblem might be a symbol of high quality

Shot in the city of Baguio, Philippines.

Two jeepneys were coming down to me. Like other countries in Southeast Asia, the bus drivers drove recklessly here. And they seemed to run as faster as they could as if they lived fast.

These two vehicles were US army-surpluses. Yet there were emblems of Daimler AG, a German car manufacturer, on both hoods. The drivers might do it to be cool. Benz seemed to be an icon for the drivers here. And the American car manufacturers were not an icon here, unfortunately.
