I was walking around the streets in the residential area. And I found a black cat sitting at the entrance of a lane like a gatekeeper. It opened its eyes wide and looked at me in an attitude of unfriendliness. I felt its inclination not to enter anyone into the lane.
Unlike the culture of the West, a black cat was not thought as an unfortunate sign in Japan. It has been sort of a talisman against evil. For this reason, it was guarding the entrance.
