Many people came and went the lane
The alleyway in the busy commercial area was also busy. Men and women were wandering back and forth. Apparently, the city was enjoying a boom. And everybody seemed to have tons of work. So no one pay attention to me during I stood in the lane.
The time is money. They didn't have time for a foreign stranger. It was only me who had nothing to do particular here. That brought a feeling of alienation to me.
