I got off the Yamanote Line at Komagome and started walking towards Tabata. As soon as I left the train tracks, I found myself in a residential area. It was an ordinary residential area. There were no landmarks, and it's easy to lose track of which way I was walking.

As I continued to walk in silence, I came across a small shopping street. It was an old-fashioned shopping street with individual shops lining both sides of the street. There were not many shoppers, and the shopping street was surrounded by a quiet atmosphere. The shop in this photo was in one of such shopping streets. Unfortunately, it wasn't open when I arrived, but the appearance of the fishmonger in an old-fashioned shop was still very much like the Showa era.
