The Accidentally Wes Anderson exhibition, which I thought was empty, was a huge success and the venue was crowded

I had completely underestimated him. I had an image of Wes Anderson as a filmmaker who has produced a number of wonderful films, but he does not make Hollywood movies and is not a major filmmaker. But I was wrong. In fact, he is a filmmaker with a unique worldview that attracts fans from all over the world. It was no surprise that the exhibition of landscape photographs that embody Wes Anderson's world was a huge success, and my plan to relax and enjoy the "Accidentally Wes Anderson" exhibition at the Teradasoko G1 Bldg. in Higashi-Shinagawa, Tokyo, went completely awry.

I made my way through the exhibition hall as if weaving my way between the many visitors. Looking at the photos of extraordinary scenes in everyday life, I felt as if I were on a trip around the world. It was an exhibition that made me want to take my camera and go somewhere right away. But at the same time, I wondered how he takes photos with this kind of perspective. There is not much perspective in any of the photos. For example, when taking a picture of a tall chimney like the one in the photo, simply visiting and photographing it will not only result in a photo looking up from below, but will also make the apex of the chimney appear smaller than it actually is. One wonders if these photos were taken with a drone, or if the perspective was corrected after the photo was taken, or if a different technique was used.
