As you proceed to the upper floors of Haneda Airport's Terminal 2, you will reach the observation deck. Runway C runs in front of you, and Tokyo Bay stretches out beyond it. Unfortunately, I could not see Tokyo Disneyland, which is visible on a clear day, but it was fun to watch the planes take off and land one after another with the sea in the background. The official website of Haneda Airport describes the observation deck as a spot for lovers, but I don't think that is true. It is fun for families, and even for middle-aged men who come alone to watch the big chunks of metal take off and land. The best part is that the observation deck is located inside the building, so you can enjoy the view comfortably regardless of the weather.

Rain, wind, heat, and cold have nothing to do with it. The loud engine noise of actual airplanes does not reach the inside of the building. The view of the runway from this serene environment is like watching a silent movie, and you can watch it forever. The couple in the photo were looking out of the window at the runway as if they were devouring the view.
